A friend asked me to second shoot a recent wedding for her so of course I said yes. In my opinion every wedding should have at least two shooters. The second shooter provides a valuable asset to the lead shooter. Because you're wedding day only happens once, having a second shooter allows for multiple aspects to be captured at once.
While Stephanie photographed the girls getting ready, I took some photos of the guys. Most people focus on the bride and her bridesmaids preparing for the wedding, but there are some really nice shots to be had if you have a second shooter than can shoot the groom and his groomsmen at the same time.
Since the girls take much longer to get ready (its not our fault, we've got dress, hair, AND makeup), I was able to run over to the ceremony/reception area to take some detail shots before guests started to come in.
